PS4 has 8gb of ram, not a measily 4gb, which modern gaming would not be possible on. It has 1TB harddrive, 3 times as much harddrive space. I'm not entirely a computer expert, but something seems fishy about that.Ĭurrently you can get a ps4 for 300$ and get a 50$ giftcard for gamestop. GTX 150 TIs graphics cards are available for around €150 ($175) in our stores if you want to go for something decent (read: completely blows consoles out of the water for an acceptable price)īut if you want to match console prices, this seems good. Maybe the price of CPUs are just bad because bitcoin or whatever, maybe when people say this they mean you have to go shop around on shady sites for stellar deals on parts that are overbundant? But if I could get a computer for 300$ US that could run Ark at a nice 30-60 fps, I'd love that to be true.ĭon't know where you're looking, should be right in your local stores, probably.

Raven:I hear this claim a lot, that you can get a PC of the same capabilities for a cheaper price than consoles, and yet I don't see it in action when I go shopping around. Now how many Nintendo games do you think would be nominated for GotY in the past 8 years? Considering that was so far back games like Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Skyward Sword game out around that timeframe even.

Maybe 4 stellar pc exclusives capable of competing for game of the year in the past 8 years. If you compiled a list of the past 8 years of games that got nominated for GotY by most outlets, there'd be those 2, Dota 2, Guild Wars 2. If I reached back for 8 years of console exclusives Divinity and League would be two nice picks, but they'd have hell to fight through to compare to exclusives from 360/wii/ps3 era even. But that's reaching quite a bit for League of Legends. Anecdotal evidence is an amazing thing, is it not? Well yeah, Divinity is nice pick for sure. Some Rocket League here and there, some Skyrim, a little bit of Overwatch, which are multiplat.

I don't particularly care for LoL, but it's a PC exclusive, so there. Other than that, People around me, friends or not, all talk about League of Legends. Tell me more about your personal circle of friends, because my friends excitedly pulled me into playing Divinity: Original Sin 2 with them, while I hadn't even heard of a new God of War until a random YouTube ad. Not saying PC doesn't have exclusives, but more so the exclusives they have, well they aren't the talk of the town, they aren't game of the year material that all your friends are constantly talking about at the watercooler. Nearly all the best PC exclusive companies just stopped releasing(Valve hasn't done anything good in forever and blizzard went multiplatform) Pubg came to consoles, and the best exclusive games I can think of for PC are indies surprisingly. Raven:But it's hard to argue that PC exclusives are platform sellers.
